In this workshop you will be shown how to perform a basic search in PubMed. You will also be shown how to use some of the results tools provided with the database. Following the workshop time will be provided for a question and answer session.

In this one hour online Elluminate workshop, students will be given an introduction to Nursing@Ovid, a federated search engine that covers the following databases; Journals@Ovid, CINAHL, PUBMED & the Pumerantz Library’s online catalog. Topics covered will be basic searching, an explanation of limits and how to use them, and how to upload citations to EndNote.
