The Pew Research Center recently published a Fact Sheet on mobile usage from their 2014 Internet Project Survey. As usual there are some very interesting statistics that have come to light here are just a few:
- More Hispanics (92%) own cell phones than White (90%) or African Americans (90%)
- There is only a 14% difference in cell phone ownership between people who earn less than $30,000 (84%) and those that earn $75,000+ (98%)
- 63% of cell phone adult owners used their phones to access the internet
- More than half of smartphone owners have either uninstalled or not installed an app due to privacy concerns
