The University Archives will be celebrating Library
Preservation Week from April 27-May 1 with a series of 3 noontime workshops on
“Preserving Your Family Memories:” Workshop I on April 27, “Preserving Family
Documents;” Workshop II on April 28, “Preserving Family Photographs;” and
Workshop III on May 1, “Preserving Home Movies.”
The workshops will discuss
causes of deterioration, care and handling, and provide storage guidelines and
other helpful tips. All workshops will be held in the Library Conference Room
from 12 pm to 1 pm. Seating is limited to 20 individuals.
